My offering for the One World One Heart event is this Valentine themed Dotee doll, hand sewn and embellished by me with glass beads & sequins. It is about 5 inches tall not counting the legs or the hanger. And as you can see... she fancies herself quite the Princess! You will have to provide your own throne or you can hang her from her beaded loop
The original idea behind this event is to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. You can read more about it on Lisa's One World One Heart blog.

In order to enter, just leave a comment on this post and, if you don't mind, include your city, state and country. Everyone is welcome, no matter where you live in the world.
I will accept names until midnight Eastern time, February 13 and will announce the winner on Valentine's Day, February 14. I will contact the winner through their blog - if you don't have blog - please don't forget to check back on the 14th to see if you won.
*UPDATED to add a couple of other items and increase your odds of winning! Everyone wants better odds, right? I know I do - so I am adding 2 other times to my drawing.
First is a pin I made last year. It is about 1 1/2 inches across and includes a ceramic bead by Earthenwood Studio. All glass Japanese and Czech beads, backed with ultrasuede.
And that's not all... I finished up a bracelet last night - another coil bracelet. These are so dainty and pretty when you see them - I can't quite convey that in the photos.
The colors on this one are far prettier in person than I can capture as well. It really is more of a reddish/wine color that it appears here. It is made with size 15/0 Japanese beads and an 11/0 Delica bead going down the middle as the spine. It measures just over 7 inches end to end. The colors are Metallic Burgundy; Transparent Pink Copper Gold; and the Delica is #104 - Translucent Raspberry Iris.
When I draw the names, I will give the first name drawn first choice, second name second choice and third - you get what's left. I hope you don't mind - I thought that would be most fair.

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) If my name is not pulled by anyone, I will still make a $50 donation. Tis way, everyone is a winner.
