Pink Artist offering, part 5

My final square for the Pink Artist project. I really had my heart set on beading something up in blue and orange, my beads on the other hand had a different idea! I think this center bead is wood, but am not sure. It is surrounded by a circle of beads, then a round of Swarovski crystals and MORE beads.

Here are all 5 squares together... Monica I hope to get these in the mail to you in the next couple of days.

Grace - each of your squares is magnificent! Love how they are all different colors too.

Your beading is so beautiful. Many people commented on the photo's of your glorious beaded doll on my blog. And I love her more each day. Have her hanging above my laptop so I can admire her.

I love visiting your blog and seeing your art. Such a highlight of my day!!

Thanks so much for all the kind words. I sincerely appreciate all the comments.

I don't know about that Noel :-) Have you SEEN the parade of squares on Monica's blog? There is some absolutely amazing little works of art there!

Is everyone as excited as I am to see the creation that Monica is putting together? I can hardly stand the anticipation!

Leaves of Grass

This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body - Walt Whitman
