Winners...

That's right - winners, plural.

First, I'm a winner (and a grateful one at that). Before I threw all the names in a hat for the drawing, I discovered a surprise in the mail for me. I received a beautiful crocheted bag from Phyllis. Phyl, I want you to know I LOVE the colors.

Take a look at this wonderful button.

And the inside is just as beautiful!

Thank you so much for the unexpected surprise, I appreciate it more than I can articulate.

Now, for the winner of the beaded doll kit ... it's KATIE! A big thank you to all of you for participating. Check back, I'll have another giveaway within the next week or so.

*Note to Tammy, I tried to videotape it just for you - and I had a little technical difficulty. Maybe next time.

Have a wonderful week!

You lucky lady! What a beautiful purse and love those colors. Lucky Katie for winning the beaded doll kit too! Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to seeing your rose squares! Two is plenty! Look at ALL you've been doing Grace! My Lord, if I could even come close to your generous HEART and put out half the amount of work you do, I would be pleased! :-)

Leaves of Grass

This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body - Walt Whitman
