Winner!

I picked the name for Spring doll/sachet drawing. Tammy, I thought of you as I did it - it would NOT have made a good video as I as multi tasking. I was on a conference call when I pulled the name. Picture headset in place, reading glasses, hair in pony tail, wearing sweats (not terribly presentable). The things one has to resort to without enough hours in the day!

Anyway... the important stuff - the winner is...

MONICA - from Girl Gone Thread Wild.

Monica, I'm so pleased you finally won something - it seems you've entered just about every drawing I have had with this being your first win. Congratulations! I know you've been working hard on our doll (Love Squared), you deserve a break and a little treat!

Thanks so much to everyone who participated. I hope to have another drawing in the not too distant future.

I've heard about your video from Tammy. I'd like to see it - is it still on your blog??

Anway - yippee for Monica - it's nice to give to someone who is also so "giving."

I'm sure she'll treasure it!

I definitely feel like a WINNER each time I load up your blog! Always FUN FUN FUN to come here and to see a lovely giveaway... well, that makes it all the more enjoyable! I won! I won! about time, eh? lol

Thank you Grace, you know I'm YOUR BIGGEST FAN! xo, Monica :)

p.s. love the reason for not video-blogging this win... THE SAME REASON I don't show pics of me working on our doll (eek!). She's not quite ready for posting, but there are a few more hours in the day, I'll need 'em!

This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body - Walt Whitman
