Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Hi all - we have a winner for the bracelet! I made a little video of me picking the name. I was going to start the video with me singing this tune, but I decided to spare you all from that and just go ahead and get down to business after a heavy sigh (sorry about that!).

OMIGOD!!!You have to be kidding me, Grace! I NEVER win thingies.......and on my 45th anniversary!DH will be tickled; we're so tired of each other by now we didn't even do gifts or go out in the cold to eat or anything special....just some old-fashioned snuggles! And now I can snuggle wearing a new hand-beaded bracelet made by the famous GRACE!
Thank you, darlin'.....I am so blessed this day.

Phyllis - you're so funny, I'm glad your pleased that you won. I should be able to get this to the post office by the end of this week.

It tickles me that so many of you enjoy the videos. I have fun making them - I wish you could have seen me, this time I was home alone and set up the camera on a tripod.

Thanks again to everyone for playing and for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. I appreciate it!

Oh Teri... I thought you of you guys last night - all evening, the laughs, the fun - the FOOD. Sigh, it makes me feel so far away knowing I can't just drive over and join you for one of your impromptu dinner parties.

I need to come visit, soon!

Leaves of Grass

This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body - Walt Whitman
