A bracelet to share

As briefly mentioned in an earlier post - I have another item I'd like to share! In honor of the snow fall on Thanksgiving and the flurries yesterday, I decided to draw names for a snowflake bracelet I made last year.

The pattern came from Bead & Button (the December 2006 issue perhaps?) - I modified it a bit as it was an odd count peyote stitch originally and I cannot execute that stitch no matter how hard I try. So I made it even count and off-set the snowflakes.

The clasp is a cool Czech glass snowflake button with an AB finish. End to end, including loop it measure 7 inches, so it's a little on the small side.

Details to play:
Everyone is welcome. Leave a comment and I will include your name. Entries will be accepted through November 30, midnight Eastern time. I will announce the name sometime on Saturday, December 1.

Have fun and good luck!!!

As a side note - I have modified the label used in the last post where I offered up the brooches won by Tammy and Kathy. I found links to that particular post showing up on various and random websites folks check simply to win items.

I believe you can figure the word out - it starts with a 'g', ends with a 'y'. There are people/groups that search blogs for that word/tag, then post links all on the Web for anyone that wants a freebie. I believe those are all well and good when attempting to increase sales or hits, but since I don't sell anything and really don't care how many hits I receive - I'd rather have folks play that make their way to my blog because they enjoy bead work or have found me through another art blog/group. Call me old fashioned, I'm funny that way :-)

I, too, know how long this bracelet took to make! It's very cute and I'd be happy to take it off your hands. :)

Your snowflake bracelet is a lovely piece and I would welcome the opportunity of having my name put into your hat. I know a certain granddaughter who would fit it to a tee and in her favourite colour too.

I will throw my name in too, it is very pretty and made me think of candy canes with the way the light shines off of it. And I love that button, Czech buttons are the best for clasps!

I love looking at your blog, did not come from a freebie site, but from the bead journal page.

Would love to win that bracelet, I know the time and love that goes into beading.
